A seven-year-old girl has narrated to men of Ogun State Police Command how her father, Nasiru Adeyemo, and step-mother, Idayat, cut off her finger, tied her up, put her in a sack and left her by the roadside to die.

Has news gathered that the couple abandoned the girl in the bush to die after cutting off her index finger
In an announcement, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the couple was captured following a misery call from individuals from general society that an odd sack was located by the roadside at Asabala territory along Papalanto-Sagamu Road.
Oyeyemi stated: "On the quality of the data, the DPO Owode Egba, CSP Shehu Alao, drove his men to the scene, where the white rice sack was loosened.
"Shockingly, a seven year-old-young lady, whose correct pointer was cut off, was found inside the sack and dumped at the roadside since Friday.
"Having understood that the young lady was as yet alive, she was immediately taken to the healing center for restorative consideration.
Her story
"It was the point at which she recaptured cognizance that she educated the Police that her dad and step-mother were the ones who cut off one of her fingers previously tying and putting her inside the sack before dumping her inside the hedge to kick the bucket.
"Upon the data from the casualty, a manhunt was propelled for the father and his significant other and they were captured at night of Sunday. The team are right now experiencing cross examination."
In the interim, the state's Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has requested the exchange of the case to Anti-Kidnapping/Cultist segment for encourage examination and conceivable arraignment of the suspects.
