ABEOKUTA- Men of Ogun State Police command have arrested a pastor and three other suspects in connection with the discovery suspected human parts buried inside a church in Ota .
The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, who paraded the cleric Wednesday in Ota,said the arrested 77-year-old prophet, Samuel Babatunde, is the founder of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Itedo Isinmi Ayo Parish, Egan Road in Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota.
The Police supervisor who directed newsmen round the Church premises said the revelation took after the capture, on Saturday, of a presumed serial criminal, Jeremiah Adeola.
As indicated by Iliyasu , Adeola, 32, had practical experience in hijacking kids and had just admitted that the prophet of the white article of clothing church was the collector of the kidnapped youngsters.
The Police Commissioner included that a 43-year-old cultivator, Haruna Afolabi, was among the suspects, who supposedly covered the human parts at the passage of the congregation.
He said " agents joined to the police Area Command in Ota on Sunday got specialized knowledge about Adeola and in the long run secured him.
"On the quality of the knowledge, criminologists from Ota Area Command were point by point to impact the capture of the suspect; and at around 10:20am of the date, their endeavors paid off when the said Jeremiah Adeola was immediately captured
