ABAKALIKI-IGBO leaders under the aegis of Alaigbo Development Foundation Monday dragged Arewa youths, their sponsors including officials of governments in the Northern Sharia States to the International Criminal Court, ICC, at Hague and the Nigerian Courts to answer to the notice of quit issued Igbo residing in the Northern parts of the country.

According to the Igbo group, the legal activity was gone for heaping legal strain to limit Arewa youths, their patrons and supporters including authorities of the Northern governments from executing their danger of Quit Notice and assume control of properties possessed by Ndigbo in the Arewa domains got ready for first October.

In an announcement issued in Abakaliki and marked by its President, Prof. Uzodinma Nwala, Secretary Prof. Nath Aniekwu and Chairman, Media and Publicity Bureau, Chief Abia Onyike, the Igbo pioneers cautioned that any assault on any Igboman connected to the danger by AREWA gatherings will be deciphered by Ndigbo as a declaration for the last disintegration of the organization.

The announcement read to a limited extent: "ADF is guaranteeing all that never again will any Igbo or Biafran property be proclaimed surrendered or seized by an expert or gathering of people in any piece of the nation. ADF and Ndigbo will battle that as per global laws and traditions.

"ADF demands that the main thing that will persuade Ndigbo and Biafrans that the central government is truly inspired by ensuring our lives and property in the North is the quick sanctioning of a law by the National Assembly precluding appropriation or revelation as surrendered, properties of Ndigbo or any Nigerian so far as that is concerned in any piece of the organization before first October 2017.

"ADF remains for a gently re-arranged organization in view of the standards of self-assurance, truth, equity, value and balance or a tranquil disintegration of Nigeria if the above is not practical. This involves outrageous direness.

"ADF sets out to make critical legitimate move at the worldwide criminal court at the Hague and the Nigeria courts to heap legal strain to limit the Arewa young people, their backers and supporters incorporating authorities of governments in the Northern Sharia states from executing their risk of Quit Notice and assume control of properties claimed by Ndigbo in the Arewa regions got ready for first October, 2017."
