Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said he "battles" to be one of the best footballers on the planet with either of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The 32-year-old who won the Ballon d'Or in January, is a firm most loved to be delegated the world's best footballer for the fifth time, following Madrid's triumphs in La Liga and the Champions League last season.
Ronaldo and long-lasting opponent Messi have shared the Ballon d'Or and FIFA Ballon d'Or consistently since 2008 and another win will see the Madrid man draw level with the Barcelona forward.
Also, Ronaldo concedes that the "solid" rivalry between the world's finest advances moves him to take a stab at progress.
"To say one [player] is hard, however the level that I am resembles in different games: Formula One, NBA… The best players dependably take after the best players," he told ESPN.
"They need to be in the highest point of the amusement in light of the fact that alternate ones are there. You can't rest, on the grounds that alternate ones will pass you.
"Obviously we battle with everybody, with Neymar, with Messi, Lewandowski, Higuain, with the best players on the planet. This is not "battling" but rather it's sound. We battle to be the best.
"It's my inspiration: to be superior to them, after a seemingly endless amount of time."
