The Plateau Police Command on Thursday confirmed the capture of a 40-year-old man, Victor Dashit, who professedly choked his eight months pregnant spouse, Irene.
"Victor is in our guardianship and examination is on-going. We should soon prosecute him," its representative, Terna Tyopev, said in Jos.
He said that Dashit, a staff of the National Industrial Court, Jos who dwells at New Abuja range of Jos, murdered the spouse, a 33-year-old educator, at their ranch in Kangang, on June 2.
