MAIDUGURI—No less than 12 people were, yesterday, killed in Maiduguri, following the explosion of bombs in the city.
Around eight people lost their lives in the main assault, when a suicide plane exploded explosives amidst admirers in a Mosque, while the second, which guaranteed four lives, occurred in another piece of the city.

It was found out that the suicide aircraft was being pursued by security agents, when she exploded the bombs strapped to her chest. Around 13 different admirers were additionally left with wounds in the stunning blast.
Representative of Civilian JTF in the territory, Danbatta Bello, who affirmed the occurrence, said the mosque assault occurred at Zannari Street, along Maiduguri-Dikwa Road.
Bello stated: "They were two young ladies that needed to assault the mosque, yet one of them stalled out on the spiked metal in a dump. The second got away and our agents pursued her. She raced to the mosque and exploded the second bomb."
He included that two other female suicide aircraft were gunned down at Mamanti Street of Maiduguri at the time the mosque was assaulted.
An announcement by the Commissioner of Police, Borno Command, Damien Chukwu, affirmed the episode.
