Four Secondary Student Who Was Arrested For Rape. They Are In The Custody Now




Four student of the Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo were on Friday remanded in the Olokuta Prisons by an Akure Chief Magistrates' Court for purportedly assaulting a 19-year - old young lady. 

The four denounced understudies are Akinola Timilehin, 21; Tobi Olagbaju, 24; Adeyemi Adebisi, 22, and Adetuyi Olakunle, 23. 

The Prosecutor, Insp. Martins Olowofeso, told court that the understudies contrived and unlawfully had fornication with of the casualty. 

"Timilehin, Tobi, Adebisi and Olakunle unlawfully denied their casualty of her own freedom by restricting and keeping her unlawfully and strongly having sexual relations with of her.

Olowofeso said that the offenses were in opposition to Sections 357, 374(1) (4) and culpable under Sections 516,358,375,365 and 213 of the Criminal Code Cap 37 Vol. 1 Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006. 

The court did not take the request of the Counsel to the blamed understudies. 

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Victoria Bob-Manuel, requested that the litigants ought to be remanded in jail until Aug. 29, pending the thought of the safeguard application.
